RIGHT! Who am I and what the hell am I here for? Firstly, I am NOT any type of GURU, so don't think I am any better than you, because that's NOT the case. I feel I have been 'shown' a way out of the rut that I have found myself in - it's a 'rut' FILLED with ambitious people, trying to make a living by working from home via the Internet. These very people, myself included and maybe you as well, have the great ideas, the drive, the plans, the willingness to learn, etc., but seem to get bogged down in an avalanche of too much information. At the end of the day, NOTHING has really been achieved EXCEPT for the disheartening feeling of pending failure. It's a very hollow feeling to have. Do you agree? I thought so.
Personally, most GURU's, (not all as you might think), reckon the sun shines out of their rear end and all that the 'little people' are good for, is their money! That's why I don't EVER purchase their high priced products. Well, that and the fact that they don't often respond to my emails when I advise them of errors in their sales pages, etc. When I do get a response, like the one the other day from a MR BIG, (it was really from his Secretary), "Thank you for your observations."
Man oh man! I was ready to kick some serious ass when I read that. I nearly sent a very terse email back, but then I thought to myself, "Hey. I am more ethical than they are. I would rather be where I am and doing what I am doing, content in the knowledge that I haven't screwed anyone to make a buck!" With that thought in mind, I then decided to 'tap into' the knowledge base of this MR BIG and use it to my advantage.
No - I DIDN'T hack his system. *smiles* What I did was to analyze his methods, both ideas and marketing, and, during that process, I was 'struck' by this whole 8 phenomenon. There had been a serious launch just take place re the 7th July 2007 happening (777 or 07-07-07), and I thought, "THIS is it, John boy. THIS is what you have to grab by the ears and shake and shake and shake until it gives back to YOU, the effort you have so far put in."
Apart from money, it HAS cost me my marriage of 32 years. My wife moved out at the end of April. Sad but life goes on. I can't turn back the clock, but I CAN, and WILL, bust my balls to get a REAL GRIP on this work-from-home scenario and I SINCERELY would love to piggy-back you, all the way to the bank as well! Want a ride?
There are TWO other things that get the hairs on the back of my neck bristling enough to make me want to hop on a plane and fly half way around the world to give these perpetrators what for! The 'so-called' marketer who sends you an email advising that you can have a product/eBook/software for FREE, but when you arrive at the website, you find it is only 'free' IF you purchase another product. Gentlemen, (loosely used term - it's the offending 'marketers' who I am directing this to here), if you are reading this, your emails are nothing more than UNETHICAL and FRAUDULENT so STOP IT! No please or thank you, just STOP IT!
Second thing ... Damn, I have forgotten it. No ... wait ... it's the outright contempt shown by some marketers, (probably the same ones), who buy a product with Resell Rights and cut the guts out of the selling price, sometimes even GIVE them away, meaning the likes of you and I can't possibly get a reasonable price for it when we try and market the same product. OK - there is no LEGAL obligation on their part to honor any 'suggested' selling price, but hey, what about being fair in the market place? Show some respect to the product owner and others who are trying to earn a reasonable living as well doing it the RIGHT WAY!
What stops me from flying over and rearranging their outlook on the world? KARMA!
KARMA - Definition: Basically speaking, it's: "If you do good things, good things will happen to you - If you do bad things, bad things will happen to you."
References to Karma either by name or general description, exist in all cultures and religions in some form. An even more basic definition is, "What goes around, comes around." I particularly like this interpretation with reference to my 'marketing friends' I mentioned above. Whilst I personally don't wish them any harm, KARMA will step in and deal them the punishment they have brought upon themselves and that they truly deserve. If Karma was physical, I would hug her/him/it!
So, with the general description of Karma above, I can confidently go forward and offer help and assistance to people who are struggling on the Internet and feel great comfort knowing that my good deeds will be repaid. What a feeling to have! I hope it's a feeling YOU share with me.
