Why are people SCARED of success?
I am gob-smacked at the negativity of people when it comes to online money earning opportunities. They always seem to look for negatives of why they think it won’t work. If they put the same effort into finding the positives, they wouldn’t be the one’s reading my rant. Sorry, but that’s the hard truth. OK. Perhaps they have been taken for a ride in the past. That doesn’t mean that ALL such opportunities have been created to rip them off. There are some very simple to operate and profitable opportunities available, one of them being Income 4 Beginners. It’s a no-cost ebook that details the steps necessary to start earning a very good income from the comfort of your own home. Once you have read it and decide that it IS something YOU CAN DO, there is a $40.00 start-up fee. For your fee, you get access to other downloads to help you out in making money online. The value of these downloads far exceed the fee you pay that allows you to participate in the Income 4 Beginners opportunity. The timing for you to get involved right now, is perfect. The marketplace is primed and ready for the product and there isn’t a chance of oversaturation. There are millions waiting for the information that the ebook holds. Simplicity is the key to it’s success. If you download it and decide it isn’t for you, no foul. It hasn’t cost you any money but you still have the valuable information to use how you see fit. It’s a win/win situation – the best kind. Come and see what the Golden Goose is all about.

Actually this doesn't address fear of success. It speaks to "why don't people want to try online marketing as a job." That's something different. In your article you mention "maybe they've been ripped off already." Or they know someone who has. Or maybe they don't have the personality to do sales and marketing. That's a biggie with anything in sales or marketing, a person has to be focused on money and have money as a high priority, has to be a "people person" usually has to be on the normative side. Then dedicate a lot of money and emotional intensity to the program. Most of the different types of online earning things will turn over some money for the extremely passionate and energetic. Stuff like Avon and so on will too, network marketing works. But only for the people who fit the opportunity. They have to be above all else -- social, and socializing within an income bracket where what's being sold appeals to their usual social groups. That excludes introverted eggheads, dedicated geeks who don't speak English without jargon, creative artistic sorts who stop bothering to do anything about sales when they've got the money to go back to painting/making music/writing, people who prefer to work with their hands -- a large number of people don't fit these opportunities. Fear of success is something completely different, and I will be writing an article on that here because it's categorically a different problem than "do I fit this type of occupation." Everyone has to ask "do I fit this type of occupation" about anything they might do to earn a living -- but not everyone wants to make earning money their main goal in life. Without the intensity of wanting to make earning money a high goal (as opposed to wanting to paint better, wanting to say what you have to say, wanting time off and a job with low stress, not wanting to work at home, wanting to save people's lives... lots of other motives apply). That doesn't mean they're afraid of success.
CONTRIBUTOR'S REPLY
Thankyou for your feedback on this ancient intel of mine. You are right in what you say in your reply. I have changed my thinking slightly since I wrote it. I will be tackling the issue again in 2010 and beyond with a different focus, that being less analysis and more assistance. Stay tuned for my 'new' outlook, methodology and solutions. You WILL be impressed.
Interesting. I'll be curious to see it. I've known a number of people who became successful in network marketing and quite a few more who didn't, mostly for reasons of being unsuited to the profession by personality. Something that asks the question "Are you right for network marketing?" that identified the key personality traits of successful network marketers with an upbeat slant might be more effective at reaching your target group -- and filtering out those who wouldn't be interested or effective in the best of programs.
